Canada Election: Singh promises $1.8B to provide clean drinking water in Indigenous communities

People in the Ontario First Nations community of Grassy Narrows haven’t had clean drinking water in decades. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is promising to build a long-awaited mercury poisoning treatment centre the community has been asking for, and vows to end boil water orders on Indigenous communities across the country.
