Michel Barnier says a Brexit deal is 'difficult but possible'

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, said a Brexit deal was 'very difficult, but possible'. He added that the EU would stay 'calm, vigilant, respectful and constructive' before Brexit negotiations on Thursday 10 October.  The EU has said Boris Johnson needs to have workable proposals by the end of the week
