Experts says poor results in public schools are as a result of ongoing reforms More than two hundred and fifty thousand candidates scored less than 200 marks in this year’s KCPE examinations. While Education cabinet secretary George Magoha assured that there will be one hundred percent transition to secondary schools, Education experts have attributed the Disparities in performance especially between Private and public schools to the effects of the ongoing curriculum reforms among them delocalization of teachers and deplorable state of public schools in the country.
