Well, here’s one of the few Shell stations that are using operational Belanger Equipment! It’s not vintage, but it is fairly old. From around 2005 or 2007. The clerk inside said it was not working but her computer system (register) was having technical difficulties and the wash was open! I looked at the wash before we went in and was glad to see the Belanger equipment was still there.
But, there is something that I never expected to see here. I was SHOCKED to see a very old EnterLink pay station! And it was still working! I’ve only seen them when they were decommissioned but I’ve never seen one that was still operational!
The wash options were cheap too! The express wash was $8, the Plus was $10 and the Works was $12! Obviously, we bought the Works Wash for $12. It included:
*Tri-Color Conditioning Foam Bath
*Dirt Busting Water Blaster
*Underbody Wash
*Clear Coat Protectant
*Super Rinse (Not Spot Free)
*Touch Free Dry
The wash did a decent job, got the bird poop off of the hood. The only complaint is that the “Super Rinse” wasn’t Spot free. That didn’t matter as I filmed another tunnel wash right after this.
