The owner told me his coat had "some mats" in it. When I went to pick him up from the home that had him I couldn't believe how bad he was. His entire undercarriage is one huge mat. He had huge mats everywhere except for the top of his head, his legs and most of his tail. I've been in the bathroom now for about 2 hours clipping him down to get rid of these horrible mats. Still have his undercarriage to tackle in the next day or so which will require someone to hold him for me.
I'm so glad I was able to save this poor little kitten from those people. I can't believe someone could let a Persian get this matted especially a young kitten. As bad as his coat was matted that can only mean they never, ever, EVER ran a comb through his coat.
