STARS works to: 1.Promote interdisciplinary research by building a comprehensive network for Swedish academics, entrepreneurs, researchers, and students in North America.
2. Develop ongoing, transatlantic collaborations between researchers in Sweden and North America.
3.Provide a platform to promote successful Swedish researchers in North America.
4. Provide support to and a mentoring network for Swedish students and researchers who wish to or are currently studying or conducting research in North America or vice versa.
