"UNO" tells the story of a young 20-year-old, Merle, who stumbles upon a flyer for an UNO game and party of the night of Halloween in 2019. She decides to go because she has nothing to do and her friend is always telling her to get out of her comfort zone. Merle gets into A LOT more than just a chill UNO game. What will happen when Merle discovers that if you win the UNO game, and your card is the same color as the color you are wearing, you can relive any Halloween of your life? A Reflection & Some Shoutouts:
This was one of the most challenging film assignments, but the most rewarding and fun. This was my first time creating, writing, directing, and editing a short film that has a completed narrative story. As well as, my first time writing a screenplay, creating shot lists and diagrams, and using more advanced equipment. From this experience I have learned that COLLABORATION! Woo! is the most essential part of filmmaking...yes! over all the other things; don't @ me!!!...and the most magical, creative, and fun aspect of it as well.
In honor of the wonderful collaboration that happened while making this, here are shoutouts to all the lovely friends that took time out of their busy lives to help their crazy ass friend with their weird film project...
