Honor 9X Specs, design, features
This handset looks a lot different thanks to the dynamic X design on the back, place the handset in some light source so as there is reflection, and see how the X forms as you move the handset, looks cool. This handset also comes with finger print sensor packed on the back.
Honor 9X is available in 4GB/6GB RAM option and 128GB ROM option, there is a hybrid slot that can be used to expand the storage using external micro SD card up to 512GB, but while doing so you can use only one SIM.
Screen is 6.59 inches supporting Full HD+ resolution with 91% screen to body ratio. The screen also comes with blue light filter and TUY Rheinland certified, this is IPS LCD touchscreen.
Honor 9X performance
Inside the hood the 9X is powered by Huawei home made Kirin 710F octa core chipset that does a pretty good and smooth job, powerful enough to play PUBG Mobile in case you are a PUBG lover. Do check the video to see the game play in action.
Handset does not heat up much and battery temp is well under control.
Honor 9X camera performance
On the rear there is 48MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, AI Video Stabilization support, 8MP Super Wide angle camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP depth assist camera for perfect portraits. Do check the samples. The handset can shoot 1080p videos and with AI Video Stabilization you can get smooth video shots without the need of using a gimbal.
Front camera is of 16MP resolution, supports 3D portrait lighting and is basically hidden, it pops up via the popup mechanism.
Honor 9X battery
A 4000 mAh battery powers the 9X which on a full charge can get the handset going for one and a half to two days of usage as per your usage pattern, however the 5V/2A (10W) standard charger will take time getting the battery charged.
Verdict
The Honor 9X specs looks great and the price considering along with the offers i.e. Rs. 11,699 looks tempting. Overall pretty good performance, looks and battery life. Even the camera quality is excellent.
A worthy buy if you were to consider.
