Cars with that extra kick are what I like. PORSCHE released the very limited Endurance Racing Edition with optional addition costs (approx. 34 000 Euro) in 2016. There were only 235 pieces produced worldwide. 95 cars went to Europe, just 45 of them to Germany. With close to 80 PORSCHE centres it is a pretty exclusive quote. Clients could chose between white, black or red exterior colour. The "Porsche Inelligent Performance" decals on the trunk/bonnet/roof were designed in black (white and red exterior) or in grey (black exterior). Black 20 inch rims. Black mirrors.
So clearly less cars compared to the famous Editions like GT3 RS or GT2 RS on which PORSCHE sometimes goes higher on the model pieces.
Personally I really like the homage to the LeMans wins from 2015-2017 with the 919 Hybrid car. ...btw. the 24h Le Mans victory 2015 was done with Formula 1 pilot Nico Hulkenberg.
You allow a personal note: It is one of my biggest dreams to race at 24h Le Mans. No doubt, it is one of the biggest effords you can reach as a race pilot. Maybe 24h of Le Mans event is the mother of car racing. Let me work on my dreams.
It are the small details which make the difference: 420 HP, 500 Nm torque, twin-turbocharged-three-liter flat six engine, 7-gears-shifting, adjustable PASM-sport-supsension lowering the Porsche approx 20 mm, PDCC, Sport Chrono packet, Rear-Axle-Steering (which makes buying winter tyres more difficult and expensive), sports seats, BOSE stereo, LED-lights, sunroof +++
0-60 mph in 3,9 sec. That's quite fast on normal streets. This car makes maybe more fun to drive on streets then a GT3 or a GT2. The sport exhaust system provides a thrilling sound.
A car is getting sold right now (2020) between $ 150-170k.
