Houseplant propagation methods Pt. 1:  Air Layering Here is a pretty in depth guide on my favorite propagation method.
Air Layering: a method in which the stem is wrapped with damp moss to encourage roots to form.
It's a pretty easy way to safely multiply your plants without the large risk of losing the mother plant or cutting.
