PM Modi invites BIMSTEC but why is Pakistan left out of swearing-in ceremony? | The Newshour Agenda On the Newshour Agenda with Padmaja Joshi, tomorrow Narendra Modi will be sworn in as India's Prime Minister for the second term at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. He has ensured that India's neighbors feel a part of the celebration so that India's presence globally gets bigger. Leaders of BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) have been invited for the swearing-in ceremony, but this time there is going to be one notable exception which is Pakistan.
