SWIMMING WITH JACKS | Binukbok Snorkel + Dive | June 2019

SWIMMING WITH JACKS | Binukbok Snorkel + Dive | June 2019 Hello! This video shows my first time to visit the legendary Binukbok snorkeling and diving paradise in Batangas. I've been meaning to see the place for myself for quite some time and I'm happy that I finally got the chance!

I wandered to Brgy. San Pablo, Bauan with my boyfriend Paul, his brother Earl, and our friend Joebert. We drove to a parking lot in Brgy. San Luis and took a boat to Binukbok Viewpoint Resort. Parking fee was at Php 100.

Rainy season has officially started, hence, you can see the weather was gloomy and the waves were bigger than of a regular sunny day. It was a risky adventure actually because once we got to the dock, it was all wet and slimy and the waves were so big that one wrong move and you'll slip along with your valuables and dry clothes.

But nothing of that sort happened so yay!

BTW, the day tour rate is Php 880/head, which includes the boat transfer, environmental fee, unlimited drinking water, coffee (kapeng barako), and juice, and use of the cottage, tables, benches, toilet, and shower. There were also masks, snorkels, life vests, and buoys there that are available for use (or rent, I'm not sure).

We brought our own cooked food, but the staff there can cook for you if you bring your own ingredients. "Check out" time was around 2-3 p.m. but the guy who welcomed us said that if the weather gets better, we can stay until 4.

OK, let's go to the snorkeling + diving part...
As Paul and I cannot dive yet, we just did some snorkeling, we're OK with that... for now. Earl and Joe were the ones who went to real good juicy action, and boy, was I so jealous!

This marine paradise is well-known for its school of jacks that majestically appears from nowhere to amuse divers and snorkelers. Seeing these fish and swimming with them so close was beyond awesome. I swear I was so giggly there underwater.

Getting in and out of the water was a CHALLENGE. The waves were so rough and were crashing on the walls so hard. But it wasn't the only hassle we had to get a handle on. There were A LOT of jellyfish in the area. I was wearing a rash guard and leggings and I still got stung... on my freaking chin! Hahahaha.

Anyways, it was fun, except for me getting dizzy again. I'd say it was a great experience and hopefully, next time I get to swim with the jacks much closer under the water and not just on the surface.

Something I forgot to mention earlier:
It's a "swim-at-your-own-risk" kinda thing so keep safe! NEVER DIVE ALONE. Wear a life vest if you don't know how to swim and always have someone watching you. Never break away form your group.

That is it! That is all for now I think. Thanks for watching the video and reading this narrative of mine. I haven't really written for a while so pardon my style of writing.
