Our 3 bedroom detached house is located in the quiet village of Madrets, Stara Zagora region. The village is about 1.5 hours (144 km) from Plovdiv (the nearest international airport), 2 hours (179 km) from the sea, Sunny Beach and Burgas. The house is in great condition and spread over two floors. The first floor consists of kitchen, pantry, living room and a shower room. There is also an additional room attached to the house, that Bulgarians call a summer kitchen - Which could very easily be repurposed into an extra bedroom / granny annex.
External staircase leads to the upper floor where you will find a corridor and 2 large double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom.
The property is currently owned by a lovely British couple, and is supplied with electricity and running water. The roof has been recently checked and repaired last year.
The garden is large, spanning 2200m2 (about half the size of a profession football pitch). There are a number of fruit trees and a well established grape vine. To the side of the property there is a double gate for vehicle access and off road parking. There is also a water well for irrigation and the house is connected to the main sewage system.
There are also some additional farm outbuildings that can be used for storage or converted into additional living space.
The village of Madrets is located at the foot of Sakar Planina mountain where you can go for hunting and nice walking among the beautiful nature and forests. The village is well developed and offers all the amenities that you need: grocery, post office, community centre, 3 local shops, cafes, kindergarten, regular bus transport to Galabovo and from there to Stara Zagora and Burgas.
